Knowles attends King of Crate at North Alabama

Jake Knowles returned with the Crate Racin’ USA on Friday afternoon at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Ala.) for the two-day fifth annual King of Crates. With 36 Late Models entered, Knowles was forced to take a provisional into the opening night feature after placing fourth in his heat. The following night, Jake timed in 10th fastest in his group before placing fourth in his heat. Starting the $3,000-to-win A-Main in 17th, Knowles clawed forward five spots in the 40-lap affair to register a 12th-place finish.
