Knowles finishes 13th in Gene Maine Memorial at Needmore

Saturday night saw Jake Knowles return with the Crate Racin’ USA at Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) for the Gene Maine Memorial. With a stout field of 57 Late Models entered, Knowles came in sixth in his heat before falling one spot shy of a transfer position in his B-Main with a third-place finish. Starting the $10,000-to-win A-Main in 26th via a provisional, Jake weaved through the field 13 spots in the 60-lapper to place 13th.
