Knowles tests new car at Needmore Speedway

Jake Knowles made the trip to Needmore Speedway (Norman Park, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon to debut a brand new Savage Chassis No. 66 Late Model for the Gene Maine Memorial.

Drawing 39 Crate Racin’ USA entries, Knowles was forced to take a provisional into the $10,000-to-win A-Main after getting behind the eight-ball in time trials. Starting in 23rd, Jake was an early retiree from the 50-lapper to save equipment.

Jake is sixth in the lastest Crate Racin' USA point standings.
