Jake Knowles competes in CRUSA opener at Cochran

Jake Knowles invaded Cochran Motor Speedway (Cochran, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon to kick off the Newsome Raceway Parts Crate Racin’ USA tour with the No Foolin’ Foray.

Amongst a stout field of 44 Late Models, Knowles followed up a sixth-place finish in his heat with a fourth-place run in his B-Main, forcing him to use a provisional into the $10,000-to-win A-Main. After getting ran over early by another competitor, Jake salvaged a 17th-place outing in the 50-lap affair.
