Jake Knowles lands on the podium at Whynot Motorsports Park

Jake Knowles followed the Crate Racin' USA Series to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Miss.) on Saturday afternoon for the House of Hook 50.

With 35 Late Models in the pit area, Knowles was fastest in time trials which earned him a front-row starting position in the feature. For the $5,000-to-win main event, Jake led the beginning stages of the event before giving up the lead to Joseph Joiner on lap 19 and settling for a third-place effort. He trailed Jason Welshan and Joseph Joiner while Hunter Lewis and Casey Haney completed the Top-5.
